This phone is perfect for those who use mobiles roughly and cannot handle them with care. it has the basic features that are required and you can also use the internat on this phone. even a person earning leass can afford this phone. It will definitley not be like android based phone but serves the daily use purpose.
Even though lot many varieties of phones are now available in the market; I still like nokia as they are the most reliable. I think it works the best for me and this one is a basic, simple and easy to use phone which also makes it an ideal choice for me to gift it to my father. Whenever he goes out for a walk or to the market we are always worried as he is aging so I recently got him this basic phone which is easy to operate and we can contact him anytime heâs out. Good phone honestly!
I always wanted to buy a less expensive phone for my younger son who can play his games, listen to music and click pictures. We know that phones are important today but as childrena re very careless i think this is the ebst phone for them.
As this phone is simple and nice it keeps you on for longer hours. when ever i am travelling i used to have battery problem in my phone but now i think this phoen will keep out of this problem. i can carry this as an extra phone and use it whenever needed. I will call its battery a marathon battery as it has a talktime of 20 hours and sandby time of 680 hours.
This nokia phone is better model as it has good camera, good screen, easy to send texts, comfortable using it. Nokia always keeps it simple and easy that I why I prefer this phone.
Good dual sim phone with great battery life. Phone designed very well. No special button to switch sim.
Nokia Asha 206 is very good phone in reasonable price for all. Feature of phone easy to understand. Thanks..
My new Nokia Asha 206 was my brotherâÂÂs birthday gift for me, the best birthday gift ever! It is perfect with its vibrancy and boldness, reflecting my personality. The cool feature set makes me proud to own it. It has a flashy yellow colour that is both stylish and bubbly. I love my brother for choosing something that not only complements my look but also matches my daily mobile needs. I can actually switch between my two phone numbers, thus conveniently staying connected to all of my contacts, without switching off my phone. Since I donâÂÂt like touch phones, the spaced out keypad on Asha 206 is a blessing. It makes typing SMSâÂÂs and using Facebook on my phone so much easier. The eBuddy app lets me stay online on various IM accounts like Gtalk, Yahoo and Windows Live Messenger. The awesome Nokia Xpress Browser ensures that my data usage doesnâÂÂt go overboard, without a reduction in data speed. I can take memorable snaps on my 1.3 MP camera and share them on the Slam app. Since it is Bluetooth-enabled, all I have to do is gently touch my phone to my friendâÂÂs phone, to share the photos!
It was a huge surprise when my dad gifted me the new Nokia Asha 206 for my birthday! It is definitely the best birthday gift IâÃÂÃÂve ever received until now. Its happy yellow colour impressed me and I felt it echoed my ever buoyant nature. When the initial excitement wore off, I realized that this cool phone is not just beautiful on the outside, but is also equipped with many outstanding features. Since I use dual SIMs, it allows me to switch back and forth between my two numbers without switching off the phone. IâÃÂÃÂm also surprised that my dad remembered my clumsiness and got me a phone with a spaced out keypad. That makes it easier for me to SMS friends and use Facebook. I prefer to stay online on the eBuddy messenger that integrates Gtalk, Yahoo and Windows Live Messenger. The Nokia Xpress Browser ensures that I donâÃÂÃÂt cross my data usage limit while maintaining a constant data speed. The phone camera is a 1.3 MP one, ideal for taking memorable pictures and sharing on the app called Slam. Since it has Bluetooth, I can share these with my friendsâÃÂàBluetooth enabled phones!
I never acknowledge menâÂÂs good taste in gadgets but my husbandâÂÂs anniversary gift for me changed that. I now own the new Nokia Asha 206 with its vivid yellow colour that stands out in any crowd, just like my bubbly personality! It has a great set of handy features that suits me perfectly. Complete credit goes to my husband for being so thoughtful and choosing something that couldnâÂÂt reflect me more. I can use both my phone numbers on this dual SIM phone and switch between them without switching off the phone. Since it has a spaced out keypad, my clumsiness doesnâÂÂt affect my typing speed.
Around a month back I was gifted the Nokia Asha 206 by my friend returning from the states. Considering a journalistâÂÂs requirement to be constantly on the move, this phone was the best thing I could ask for. With NokiaâÂÂs durability and reliability to bet on and several other features, I couldnâÂÂt have asked for more. The sleek design of the exterior of the phone is very aesthetic and it is easy to hold to the ear during a call. The wide 2.4 inch LCD display is a delight, the brightness making the screen visible even with the sunlight directly hitting the screen, making games, websites and apps a pleasure to read. The keypad is of the archetypal alpha-numeric pattern, and this proves to be convenient, considering this is what I am used to. The buttons are embossed on the panel with gaps between each other, so the problem of pressing the wrong button is eradicated. I can just zip through typing SMSs, updating my status on Facebook or replying to an email. The user interface in the Asha 206 is a very convenient one, the S40 Symbian operating system being improvised to suit this phoneâÂÂs functionality. The menu access is simple, with customizable shortcuts and a clear and detailed display of apps, contact info, message font etc. making it easy to use even for the non-gizmo freak like me. The navigation is in-your-face simple with convenient pointers and tooltips hidden everywhere to help guide me through the maze of apps and utilities. The dual SIM slots are perfect for me, as I can now easily keep my personal and professional contacts separate. Switching between the two SIM is easy too, as I no longer need to switch off my phone. With 2G internet available for both SIMs through GPRS, I can stay in touch with workmates, friends and family through the various apps like G-talk, Facebook, LinkedIn etc, that are combined in the eBuddy app.
I was gifted the Nokia Asha 206 by my uncle after getting into college. Although smartphones are a hit among my peers, I was never attracted to them. All I needed in a phone were the essential features of calling and texting, combined with a decent camera, entertainment and basic internet services. And this phone fits the bill. I just adore my Asha 206 for the kind of rich feature set it brings to the table. Let me share some features that makes it ideal for me. The contours of the phone remind me of the early 6300 of Nokia, the bright 2.4 inch LCD screen being easy on the eye. The quintessential alpha-numeric keypad, with the numbers along a 3 column pattern, is well spaced and easy to press along. I find typing SMS, replying to emails and updating FB statuses quite simple and easy, without any errors caused due to accidental pressing of adjacent buttons. The sleek design and the thin nature of my phone give it an overall light feeling while carrying and when inside my pocket. The Java-based S40 operating system has been forever-present in Nokia phones, and continues to carry over its good work here. The dual SIM slots of my Asha 206 are a boon, helping me carry over calls in case there are any hassles with either SIMs. This feature also helps me keep my personal and professional life separate. The receiver is a loud and clear one, providing a distinct voiceover from the caller. The 1.3 MP camera of my phone is a delight, with features like a full screen viewfinder and 4x zoom making it just about convenient for clicking random photographs. Also, upon transferring the images to a PC/laptop, I can realize the quality of the camera.
I recently bought the Nokia Asha 206. I am used to such phones and not the overtly sophisticated touch-screen smartphones because I am quite clumsy in handling them and also find their feature set to be too mind-boggling. Considering I have my own low-key business for which I need a decent phone with basic entertainment features, this model happened to attract my attention. I bought the one with cyan outer colour. The design of my phone is snazzy and the bright 2.4 inch LCD screen is bright even with sunlight directly falling on it. This makes reading content on websites, playing games and watching videos pretty enjoyable. The alphanumeric keypad, with the numbers along a 3 column pattern, have been carried over from previous such models and the spacing between the buttons has been improved. The phone feels lightweight due to the thin nature while carrying and when inside a pocket. The operating system is a typically user-friendly Nokia S40. The dual SIM slots are a blessing, enabling me to have personal and professional contact details separately, yet simultaneously. I donâÂÂt even need to switch off my phone to switch over to the other SIM, which I find to be ultra convenient. The 1.3 MP camera of my Asha 206 is a delight, with features like a full screen viewfinder and 4x zoom making it just about convenient for clicking random photographs on family outings as well as a few business trips. I can even record decent quality videos and play them back later on the integrated video player. The music player has an interactive setup and has listings based on many custom categories like artist name, album name, etc. The FM radio has a good tuner and helps, in case I am bored listening to my own collection of songs. Video recording and playback is really good.
I had been searching for a phone that looked stylish and different from the rest. That is when Nokia Asha 206 caught my eye. It looks so bold in all the bright colours it comes in. My prime focus has always been how my phone looks and feels in my hand when IâÂÂm carrying it. Nokia Asha 206 honestly is much more appealing than all the other phones in the market today. Trust me; I had been looking for a smart looking phone for such a long time! Although I did not want a crazy amount of useless features, I still wanted a good amount of functionality options. ThatâÂÂs exactly what I got in my Nokia Asha 206! Most importantly, the convenient dual SIM capability of my phone has made managing my personal and professional life so easy. Typing on my Asha 206 is so comfortable, my fingers type faster with the well-spaced out keypad. The big 2.4-inch screen provides a great visual display for picture viewing, games, menus and settings. I do everything on my Asha 206, from taking funny pictures with my friends to capturing amazing moments on my video recorder. I was also highly impressed by the audio quality of Asha 206, which was an important consideration for me because I love listening to music. With support for GPRS and EDGE, my Nokia Asha 206 lets me browse the web at very high speeds via the Nokia Xpress Browser. It also comes with intelligent data compression which has practically reduced my data usage, meaning I need to shell out less to enjoy more on the web! The host of productivity tools on my Asha 206 come in handy like the calculator, converter, and recorder and reminder service. I can stay connected to my pals at college with the array of messengers my phone has.
I bought this phone for my old parents, was impressed with screen size and keyboard.. lots of good already told about it.. so I'll start with the bad.. 1. The voice quality is very-very synthetic, one will find it extremely difficult to recognize the voice of the person on other side 2. The speaker is on back side and the ringtone is also played thru this speaker. Now, the problem is when phone is lying on its back, say on a table, and you are barely 2-3meters away the ring-tone is barely audible even though the ring volume is at its fullest.. so we missed to receive calls when in other room.. 3. The earphone volume, even at its fullest, appears much low as compared to earlier phone! my parents were earlier using Nokia 11xx series phone - not mp3 tone supported - but ring-tone volume and voice quality were superb, one can hear the ring even from far-off corner of the house. Do not intend to use internet/youtube/app etc. so can't provide feedback on this!
Look wise great phone...slim....but some other features are not so good...I miss its camera quality which is VGA.. At least should be 2 mega pixel..second thing it's USB connectivity...and last thing it's price should be under 3000. Now I am still waiting its updated version nokia 210...
