We all dream of financial independence and wonder if we will ever be able to earn enough money to let our dreams come true. Nearly every one of us will have given this aspect at least a fleeting thought. When I had the opportunity to pick up this book, I left every thing aside and gave it a thorough read.

Brian Tracy is a self help and motivational speaker and also has written several books. He has done a fine job with this all time favourite book "Getting Rich Your Own Way: Achieve All Your Financial Goals Faster Than You Ever Thought Possible". This book is filled with practical advice learnt from real world situations and abounds in sensible and proven ideas and techniques on increasing your wealth.

With the help of this book, Brian tells you how to accumulate wealth even if you have to start from your present situation. The best part of this book that it is a practical primer in commonsense. Readers get to learn the tried and tested ways of earning wealth and even achieving the status of a millionaire.

Although first published in 2004, this book is still going strong because it contains all the relevant principles and ideals that have withstood the test of time. Unlike other self help books that preach various methods to get you to the top, this one has no short cuts and does not believe in magical ways.

I especially appreciated Brian Tracy's humble beginnings when he was nearly penniless to his current position as a self taught millionaire.
