Another great book from Chetan Bhagat. After reading this book i became an extreme fan of Chetan. A very very very good story for all Indians who are in love with a girl of different community. The best part of the book is the last cover page which tells the extreme truth about love stories of India. The story is griping. All characters of these books rocks. Ananya and Krish's love story is mind blowing. Cool features and the most enjoyable part of the book is the sentences which Krish says to himself. Please read the book and share the experience with us. Thank you for reading this.
Gud Screen play. The way the Tamil girl is portrayed seems to be very partial... While representing a State (TN), the author could have been more sensitive towards their emotions & sentiments. The impression on the Tamilians could have been pictured better !!
it was the first time i read the novel...2states the story of my marriage..the story is very fantastic similar to our life's happening and quite natural..the scene of proposing the love and the marriage..i was very much interested and i felt that it happened story before me sir...
Another love story….but this time from the paperback king….let us see what is special. There is nothing new in love stories. Boy proposes, girl accepts, their temporary breakup, their supplication for marriage and finally their pleasant unite. But the screenplay and dialogue matter every love story and this novel dazzles by its dialogue and screenplay. The story deals with the love life of krish, a Punjabi boy and ananya, a Tamil girl and their missions to get married. This novel also handles the lingual and cultural diversity of the two families humorously. The strong positive point about the novel is that it hilariously emanates the lingual and cultural varieties of the two states. The dialogues mostly will not miss to tickle your funny bone. The novel has many romantic moments and the dialogue will surely touch your deep heart. The marriage rituals are portrayed well enough and each and every member of the two families are given importance in the marriage (and also the story), which is the tradition of our India we can be proud of. The character description of krish is clear enough as a Punjabi boy. But Anaya’s character definition is ambiguous and disgusting as a Tamil girl. I accept some Tamil girls love to drink and prop up pre marital sex. But when representing a mass community (especially the title itself represents two states), the character should be typical in that community. And the dialogue addressing the girl ‘gori’ can be avided.Coming to the story, the sequence in Ahmadabad is enough gripping .But once the Chennai sequence seems to be sapping slightly. Especially the sequence after goa breakup and Delhi is lackluster.
