I have been driving the SRV for about a month now. And I should say that, for its size it has some attitude. The interiors are spartan. It's spacious. Everything about the interiors is simple yet elegant. The AC is superb and controls are within easy reach. Once you get over the reverse gear, turning lights and wiper control positions, driving is cool. However the steering wheel shows sign of a bad finish and the horn is at the centre and one needs to reach out for the horn. Thats bad, especially on Indian roads.
Fuel efficiency is not that good. City driving averages 7-8 km/litre. Acceleration is superb but braking needs improvement. Shock absorbers are good but will wait and watch how it fares over a year or so of city driving.
Gear transmission is not that smooth. Ride on the 2nd/3rd gear is NOT at all easy. This is a serious area of concern and GM dealer Workers seem to a helpless lot blaming everything on GM. I will be soon writing to them to convey my concerns.

It's confirmed. It's one of the best looking cars in tow. And for sure, neighbours are going to envy while drivers will take a pride in this car. Every time I stop at the signal, the bikes and the car passengers keep staring at my better half . Especially the rear part and the gentle but treacherous slope from the roof. Well said by NDTV," if you need to see a better rear, look for Jlo". As far as the interiors, some have expressed disappointment calling it cheap for such a price tag. Well "beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder" but I think a sleek, professional ungaudy, simple, neat look is a trademark for all sports cars and vehicles and thats what gives the feel of it in SRV. The six speaker effect seems to engulf you making sure the door and dashboard accessories don't groove in unison. Last but not the least; safety. Well the car has a very tough skin, especially the Bonnet, pretty heavy to lift. The seat belt, hand break and malfunction indicator lamps are of great support for someone like me who gets lost in noland.
