No vibrations, no hiccups, I could easily change the gears of the car even at the speed of 20kmph. I suppose this car is meant for city roads. Overall the features are also good. I am going for this car (LT Version) instead swift for two reasons: a six or more month waiting time, and secondly: my wife did not like the bumpy looks and the side view of swift. My wife was inspired by the leg space at the back seat and she felt like she was sitting in a big car like Honda city. And coming to boot space, it is very spacious. Car control is very great. However one thing I was pissed off was, was bringing the gear back to 2nd or 1st. Anyways, a car is something you can fall for.
I live in Mumbai and had experience of driving a light car as Alto at my parents place. I stand 5'11" tall and leg room was always my concern while deciding a comfortable ride... I checked out many cars before deciding on U-VA it is actually what it promises to be..."S P A C I O U S". I enjoy driving this car even doing Inch-Driving in congested traffic of Mumbai. The front seats can be pushed back sufficiently to give you a feeling of driving big car.. and even after that the rear passengers are not cramped. For long and tedious drive this extended position of drivers leg reduces the fatigue a lot, and for any self driving person it is the first concern. The look is second to none in its category.. Headlight has been worked upon for giving it a distinctive look. And believe me it is just 7-8 inches smaller then Tata Indigo, the extra cargo space is distributed for more leg room.
Sure there is a little stiffness in the gearbox⦠but that is nothing which let you trade the space you are getting. 1st gear is not so smooth but you fail to notice it on your 4th -5th drive onwards. With AC the pickup get hit in the city.. on highway it really doesnât bother you. And ya I forgot to mention the stability of the car⦠I personally touched 160-165 kmph on Mumbai Pune Express Highway and the car was quite, stable and ground holding to give a smooth ride.
Last but not the leastâ¦. It is a economical carâ¦.I have experienced myself a mileage of 16-17 Kmpl on Highway and 10-11 Kmpl on Mumbai high traffic road. You just canât ignore this fact.. it is best in this segment⦠donât say you donât bother.. because it matters a lot. Once the car hit the roadâ¦the only thing you think about is neither its look, nor its gearbox, but when you have to fill the tank, and a good mileage make you fall in love with your car.
I am already in love with it.
