One of the most sold cars in America, what drives Honda Civic is its high level of fit and finish and an impressive reputation for reliability, especially for an economy car. Impressive fuel economy, environmental awareness and engaging performance have also played a large role in making the Honda Civic so popular. The front has got amazingly aggressive looks; it resembles the Accord, but not a carry forward of Accord. The rear end is also very muscular and big, making the car look chunkier from the rear. However, remember it's a driver's car, as the interior layout seemingly focuses around the driver. If you are planning to have one, keep your dreams of being chauffeur driven at bay, lest you will lose out on the beautiful experience.
A perfect blend of style, luxury and technology, commuting in Honda City 1.8 V AT is an exhilarating experience in itself. The body type is sedan. The fuel type is petrol and the transmission type is automatic. The mileage-city is 8.7 kmpl. The maximum power is 132@6,300 (PS@rpm) and the maximum torque power is 17.5@4,300 (kgm@rpm)

Living Life Civic-size
My mood was quite upbeat that day. And why shouldn't be. I was all set to visit a showroom in Worli to get hold of my second car, Honda City. However things took a U-turn once I reached the showroom. I simply couldn't take my eyes off from Honda Civic. I became Civic Crazy within no time. The interiors set my heart-a-flutter and the dashboard looked quite amazing. Next thing that I remember was I was test driving the car. A 10 minute test drive and that was it. My one concern was the fuel consumption in city driving and the low clearance given the many potholes and speedbreakers in Mumbai.
I was given delivery on the promised date and the love affair took off. All my apprehensions were put to test. To my amazement and delight, the petrol consumption was a consistent 10-10.5 per litre in city driving conditions and I mean almost constant gear changes, speed alterations and traffic jams. My first few drives on the expressway and to Karjat gave me an incredible 12-13 km/lit, I am not kidding.
One minor complaint however, is the blindspot on the windscreen due to the vertical bar of the frame on the right hand corner. Because of it i have to peek around it to make sure i am not missing someone standing or crossing in that area. On the whole, the car is a must-buy, but only for those who have the money to shell out.
