I want to purchase SUV and first option which came to my mind was Honda CR-V. But before purchasing it I thought to consult my friend who is owning the same. But sad to say that he is not satisfied with his car.

This is what he told me: The fuel efficiency given by this car is not good. One can still compromise on looks while buying a car if the fuel efficiency is good but cant go for a car who gives less average. The same is the case with CR-V. Its looks are really very good but average is less.

It has modern and dynamic design and is classically elegant having unrivalled road-presence. But at the same time the rain sensor as well the autolock-doors and the auto-off lights are missing. Also at times a noise comes while applying breaks.

Overall an okay car. But other better options are available in the market.

Watch Out! Essential ammunition is missing Rating of 4 out of 5 Rating of 4 out of 5 Rating of 4 out of 5 Rating of 4 out of 5 Rating of 4 out of 5

This is an oft-repeated grouse of almost all the reviewers 'low fuel efficiency', and I too am troubled by the same factor. Seems Honda is least interested in finding out a workable solution for it's most harrased customers.
Have had the CRV AT for 6 months now, and in general the SUV has been trouble free bringing smile to our faces whenever we take it for long drives, notwithstanding the fuel efficiency factor.
The engine is excellent; it has got smooth cruising, and good middle end torque. The fit and finish is spectacular by any standard which is not surprising, knowing that the car is completely built in Japan. However the company could have installed a decent music system, taking into consideration the amount spent by the buyer, that comes close to 17 lakh!
The interiors are roomy, with ample leg-room, head room and space to stretch for 3 passengers in the back seat. However the company should have a placed head-rest for the passenger in the middle of the rear seat, as it is a definite must in the Indian market.
