The Hyundai Elantra is a comprehensive entry-level car for the luxury segment. It has superb aerodynamic looks with European looking style and body design. With sophisticated safety features like advanced brake assist system, electronic brake force distribution, and traction control system, it is a cool pick well that is well marked for performance and safety.

It is available in two four cylinder configurations as a 1.8 litre DOHC petrol engine as well as a 2.0 litre Turbo Inter cooled CRDi Engine. This engine meets the latest Euro III norms.

With exquisite leather interiors and upholstery, this variant scores over its earlier sibling by providing superior features like driver and passenger air bags, alloy wheels, CD player and other premier features like 60:40 rear folding seat, body coloured OVRM, sporty rear spoiler, trip computer among others. The exteriors have body coloured front and rear bumpers, body coloured OVRM, rear defogger with timers, alloy lamps, and a sporty rear spoiler.

The interiors sport front and rear centre armrest, dual height adjustable seat, RHD controls, inside chromium door handles and music speaker with 4 speakers and tweeters. Winner of Hyundai

When I purchased Elantra two years back, I compared with Skoda Octavia, Corolla, and Optra before making the final decision. Truly I couldn't stop people from asking about the car after a first look as this has a European look and not that visible on city roads like it's peers. Its a power plant and true value for price. Driving Elantra is very smooth and comfortable. I mostly travel on highways rather than city and it easily gives me an average of 11.5 km/pl. The well built ABS and TCS gives perfect driving control. AC is chills quickly. Music is system is like disco, quality of the sound system is very good but only problem is its a MP3 player. Steering and road grip is also excellent.

Value for money

I bought Elantra 5 months back and feeling good about it. She is a beauty in looks and nothing like her in performance. Holding her makes me feel really proud and satisfied. The gear shifting is very smooth and she glides on the road. Riding on highways is absolute fun and comfortable. Even at a high speed of 180 km/hr, she is steady and gives you the perfect control. There is ample space inside the car and she provides comfortable seating for everyone. Only thing about her is she is extremely thirsty than others in the market in her category. Moreover she is excellent and I am satisfied.
