The Sonata Embera is Hyundai's stylish corporate presentation as the 5th generation Sonata. At the first look, it presents an elegant and refined stance with clat and grandeur that few can match.

The car is equipped with a powerful 2.4 litre four-cylinder VTVT engine that is capable of delivering a maximum power of 165 PS at 5800 rpm. Created especially for Indian markets, its major attractive features are stylish feel and looks, a unique suspension system conditioned for Indian roads, independent suspension, rack and pinion steering, disk brakes and ABS system for quick braking. The body is uniquely designed to ensure safety to the occupants in the event of collision or impact. This model is available in two variants - the 2.4 M/T and the 2.4 A/T

This variant also has the same engine specification and transmission parameters as its leather furnished sibling. Further, this variant has some remarkable features for comfort such as FATC air-conditioning, power steering, front and rear power windows with auto-down feature, electrically adjustable OVRM and retractable OVRM housing with heating. Other comfort features include power antenna, 2DIN head unit with CD player, front and rear speakers with tweeter and woofer. A printed antenna on backlite is also provided. The exteriors are brilliantly designed as well. This variant features a sporty rear mud guard with twin exhaust. Front mudguard too! Also included are front fog lamps, projection style headlamps, chrome waistline moulding and all round tinted glass. The fabric variant is available in a choice of six dazzling colours - noble white, ebony black, crystal silver, deep pearl blue, grace beige, and charming grey. This variant features chrome inserts in front of the front & rear bumpers.

The interiors are exquisitely designed around fabric to lend a warm and comfortable feel. Featured in this variant are front and rear map reading lights, room lamp, front and rear ashtrays, full sized front and rear armrests, coat hooks, adjustable front and rear headrests, illuminated ignition and control panels, 8 way driver power adjustable seat, and a host of other delectable features.

The safety features included on this variant are built to withstand the most extreme circumstances.
