The Verna XXI features Hyundai's renowned variable timing valve train 1.6L 16V DOHC petrol engine. This variant has a seating capacity of 5 people. Available in 5-gear manual transmission, it offers a decent fuel economy of around 15.1 kmpl on the highways and 9.7 kmpl in city driving conditions, thereby offering an overall fuel economy of around 10.8 kmpl.
