Hey everyone... I have bought the Logan DLS at Jalandar few days back. Its bit early to provide review but I would like add whatever I felt in these days. I was really confused about buying the best diesel car that would be in my budget of 5-7 lakhs. The first model that came to my mind is Ford Fiesta but dropped as it was pretty higher than I expected it to be and even the spare parts are comparatively costlier than others. Then next choice was Indigo LX which had ample space and performance but lacks looks as well as one of my friend informed that the engine is also up to the mark. I also went for the Maruti Swift VDI model which has everything looks, space and powerful engine but paying 5.5 for the same is very high. Apart from that I was asked to wait for 3 months if I booked a swift which was really unimaginable.
But finally one of my colleague took me to the nearest Toyota showroom and showed Logan DLS. As soon as I took the test drive, I could feel Logan has equal power and looks compared to swift (though swift has 75 bhp). Logan really has ample space and comfort seating I required. No need to change gears in city and on highways it's a smooth car to drive. Ground clearance of this car is 172 mm. Fuel consumption is 14 kms/pl in city driving and 20 -21 on highway with AC and goes up by 1.5 ? 2 without AC. AC is really quick and pickup increases as soon as AC is switched off.
