The Maruti Alto has overtaken the Maruti 800 as the most popular car in the Indian Market. The Alto comes with great looks and a superior feel, yet with the economy and easiness of the Maruti 800.

Good family car
I currently own Maruti 800 and want to buy a new car in the same range and more specifically from Maruti family only. And I found Maruti Alto the apt choice for me. I am having a small family of 4 which can easily accommodate in this small and compact car.
It is upgraded version of Maruti 800 having power steering and inbuilt AC. In a congested place like Ahmedabad, it is a good car to opt for in traffic clad areas.
It is a car which suits the person driving it. It gives good fuel mileage in comparison to the base models of Hyundai Santro Zing and Fiat Palio.
It has all the basic features a small car needs to have with the cost which is all affordable.
It can rightly be said to be a good family car.
I got rid of my Chevrolet Spark to bring in the Maruti Alto LXi. The Maruti Alto LXi feels very much in tune with the Indian scenario.
I guess the Alto LXi is the neatest car in the small car segment. I especially like the interiors and the electronics that came with it. Mileage is also nice and gives good performance on the highway.
