gives wonderful service if properly maintained
I am driving the Maruti Omni since many years now, and I do agree that the safety aspects of the Omni are a bit dangerous. However, if you drive it carefully, it gives you wonderful service and much better performance than any other van.
Depending upon the configuration, it can seat 5 of 8 individuals comfortably. I have the LPG configuration, because I get good economy. Driving it carefully and not rashly gives good results and the Omni lasts a lifetime.
