Maruti SX4 ZXi (Leather Option) (Petrol) Sedan Car
This is a premier Sedan presentation from Maruti's stable in the C+ segment. This is essentially an inline with competition car to take on the leader in this segment Honda City. With its accentuated masculine features, Maruti boasts that it is the tallest, widest and the roomiest car in its segment. The Maruti SX4 comes with enough of legroom and head room. People who view it from the front will find it in tune with the Swift's exteriors, but the rear is extended to give it a boot and transform it into a comfy looking Sedan.
Maruti intends to provide better features than the competition to make the SX4 more appealing to buyers in this segment. To begin with, the SX4 includes the futuristic M series 1600 cc engine under its contoured masculine bonnet. Additionally, with a high ground clearance and a rigid chassis, this car presents a great sight with great road manoeuvrability. Moreover, its wide tyres and straight line stability give it the sturdiness and stability while driving during congested traffic conditions, on the highway, or even on unpaved surfaces.
Additionally, the interiors are coloured in stylish beige. The higher end variant ZXi features premium leather interiors also. Moreover, the aluminium accents provide a sporty look to the car. Furthermore, there's a whole load of gizmos behind the doors such as in-dash music system, automatic air-conditioning, attractive matt silver dials, steering wheel mounted controls for the music system and a lot more!
The same goes with safety features such as adjustable tilt steering, anti lock brakes with EBD, seat belt tensioners and load limiters, dual front SRS bags, which are available ZXi, though lower end safety features are available with the lower variant VXi. The SX4 comes in three variants, the VXi, ZXi, and ZXi (leather).
The Maruti SX4 ZXi comes with Maruti's powerful 1586 cc DOHC naturally engine with Denso fuel management technology. This engine produces superior power and torque, meaning excellent performance, acceleration, and handling. The SX4 ZXi is the top level presentation with top range price tag in the SX4 series.
The SX4 ZXi delivers a respectable fuel economy of approximately 9.0 kmpl to 14.5 kmpl depending upon driving conditions. It has a 50 litre fuel tank capacity.
The SX4 ZXi (leather) features top level comfort and safety features. Some of these features include premium grade leather upholstery, electrical power steering, air conditioning, power door windows, power mirrors, audio system with AM/FM radio and CD player, navigation, and leather seats.
Safety features include ABS, driver + passenger airbags, child safety lock, keyless entry, and central locking.
I am interest have one SX4 Leather version in Mumbai but I would like to know whether Maruti can install an auto-transmission gear system with additional cost if any as I was using automatic trnasmission car in abroad. If possible to arrange it by Maruti I will by as soos as I get reply from Maruti.
Thanks & best regards

I recently purchased the SX4 and I am quite happy about the looks and the performance, though I need to add that the
interior and the looks could be much better on this model. The SX4 is serious competition to other midsize cars in
its segment such as the Honda City, but falls behind the Honda City when it comes to the quality of the interiors.
However the SX4 comes for a price that makes the interiors more than acceptable.
The Honda City's interiors come as more refined and polished to make the SX4 rather somewhat crude. It is difficult
to seat three grown-up individuals in the rear seat. The seating configuration essentially fits two muscular people
and one lean Johnnie.
The boot space is raised that could make parking through the rear view mirror a bit of a problem, so first timers
need parking practice with the help of the ORVMs.
The SX4 struggles a bit in traffic conditions in second gear, but is perfect on straight and open conditions. The
gear stick gives no problem while shifting gears, and the ABS works fine while braking at different speeds.
The SX4 appears to be a good compromise on its negative and positive points, overall providing a good value for
money. As for service, the Maruti service network gives me a lot of assurance compared to the competition. The Honda
City is equally great with performance and looks, but it is a great experience for the money that I spent for the
SX4.
