The Wagon R is also available as Wagon R duo - LPG + petrol hybrid. This vehicle runs on a 22.5L LPG tank with a reserve petrol capacity of 12.5 litres. On LPG mode, the Duo offers slightly less power of 57.5 at 6000 rpm and a slightly reduced maximum torque of 77 kg-m at 4500 rpm. However, the economy and utility of LPG works out to be lower that running diesel costs, as Maruti claims that the Duo saves more than INR 10,000/ on diesel expenses.

This model is available in four variants LX, LXi, VXi, and AX. While the first three variants feature a 5 speed manual transmission, the AX is a 3 speed automatic. Furthermore, the LX is a base model with manual steering, the remaining three feature electronic power steering (EPS) too.

The Maruti Wagon R Duo primarily runs on LPG using a factory fitted kit With a separate 22 litre LPG tank and a 35 litre petrol tank, the Maruti Wagon R Duo goes a long way! It provides a good fuel economy of between approximately 12 kmpl to 16 kmpl depending upon driving conditions. This 5 door hatchback is capable of seating four people.

The Maruti Wagon R LX Duo comes with standard comfort, safety, interior and exterior features.
