From the house of Mercedes-Benz, the Mercedes-Benz SL-Class forms an influential part of the series of luxury automobiles launched by the renowned manufacturer. SL, meaning "Sport Light", first appeared on the 1954 300SL 'Gullwing' so named because of its upward-opening passenger doors.

Mercedes-Benz SL-500 offers an overwhelming sporting experience. One of its kind as the The New SL-Class Roadster is the first Mercedes to be equipped with SENSOTRONIC BRAKE CONTROL (SBC). This electro hydraulic braking system achieves an even more dynamic braking feel, with impressive deceleration. In emergency braking, SBC reduces the car's stopping distance. It also enhances safety when braking during cornering, by optimizing the brake force distribution between the wheels. Mercedes-Benz SL-500 has 8 V, 5.0 L engine that generates an output of 306 bhp @ 5600rpm and a torque of 460 Nm.

Ok but not as good as bimmers

this sl class is a basic one when we talk about ultra luxury cars because they don't sell any AMG high output models,not in India if I'm not mistaken.
I personal like BMW cars. They are lot more sporty cars than mercedes.mercedes are for oldies and cougers.if u want to spend this much money on a sl500 coupe ,go test drive bmw 6series two door coupe u will see what I'm talkn about.
I personally own a bmw m3 pheonix yellow convertible with 'smg' tranny with formula 1 like steering wheel gear shitters. Go see this model on google images u will c the why im trying to tell Indian people to forget mercedes and go for bimmers, that is new leader in luxury cars worldwide

yucks tats so expensive. if you hav the money to burn go for it. i wud any day settle for a Lancer or a fiesta than buy this royal elephant.
