The FinePix Z100fd is a compact camera with 8.0 million pixels. It has a 1/2.5" CCD. The storage medium is xD picture card in JPEG (EXIF 2.2) and the internal memory capacity is 54 MB. The file format for movies is AVI and WAVE format with Monaural sound. The maximum resolution for still pictures is 3,264 x 2,448 while the minimum resolution is 640 x 480 pixels. The camera is also equipped with a Fujinon 5x optical zoom lens with aperture range of F3.8 - F4.8. Other features include exposure control, TTL metering, programmed AE, auto focus, white balance, self timer, auto flash, movie recording, face detection, IR communication, video output and USB. The LCD screen is 2.7" with approximately 230,000 pixels. The power supply is NP-45 Li-Ion battery, and the dimensions of the camera are 92 x 55.7 x 19.8 mm, and the weight is approximately 138 grams excluding accessories, batteries, and memory card.

Too good for its price

I just ended up buing this cam on 12th may 09 only. Dont hav much of experience. But whatever little I could judge and compare, I found it surprisingly great for its price. Believe me, It gives more natural pics than a Sony worth 18000. And this one surpasses almost any camera in style and looks. Worh having one good stre at least. If you r for more MPs u may go for Z200fd. Overall, Fujifilm came up with a surprise for me.
