Royal Enfield Thunderbird (Kick Start)

Winner of the Best Cruiser Award from BBC Wheels, the Thunderbird is designed especially for Japanese motorcycle lovers. Featuring attractive cruiser styling, lots of chrome and optional disc brakes, the Thunderbird has been upgraded to a Transistor Controlled Ignition System and comes with an electric start option. Moreover, not much of an effort goes into kick starting, it invariably starts on the first kick.

Looks

  • Headlamp set high up on tall forks
  • Extreme looks and styling
  • Indicators now sport clear glass

  • The rear end has clear glass indicators and the Thunderbird logo on the rear plate of the backrest

Control

  • User reported maximum speed of 120 kmph

1 customers found the following review helpful scaring by the name of Thunderbird

TB is very good to ride..But in this model i suppose there is problem with tapping rods& timing valve. My tapping rod & pistin kit noise started during gurantee period only. But the authorised servicing centres didnt consider that and i had to pay for all.I still keep changing tapping rods along with its gears after every 6-8 months.parts availability is also problem many times.Enfield company should really look after these matters.
