My friend owns this bike. Thought to give his view on this bike. Basic important feature is that it gives on an average a mileage of 70 kmpl. It has straight seat which can easily accommodate 3 persons. It is well equipped with multi-reflector headlight and indicators, wet-air-filter and air induction system for a cleaner fuel emission. It comes with 130mm drum brakes assuring reliable braking power. Long wheelbase that supports the braking and aids sharp turning are its glaring features. Speed, pickup, style and the show-off component are the hallmarks of this version. It does not have the facility of auto start and alloy wheels are also absent. It does not come in other colours except the basic ones like Maroon, silver and black color schemes. But the issue of colour is not of much importance when this bike is the best to drive in city clad with traffic. Best in low price and good mileage makes it the most attractive and economical bike in market.

I purchased Yamaha Crux in the month of April 2006 from Ahmedabad. Before fixing on this bike, I did a research on array of bikes, including Herohonda CD dawn, TVS Star City, Yamaha Crux, Bajaj CT 100. But finally i zeroed in on crux. The price and the brand played the deciding factors. However I had to pay a price for going in for a cheaper model. As there is no fuel indicator in this bike. Also the seat is also not comfortable. As the bike is also not having a side stand while other company of bikes gives the same. Also the front light is giving less focus and lower intensity. Mileage seemed to be good in first 3 months but later on the mileage got down to 60-70 km / ltrYamah Crux I purchased in month of April 2006 from Ahmedabad, Gujarat

My yahama has really touched my heart. It has got the WOW smoothness like RX 100. iT's a bold ( black ) and lady like bike with 7.6 bhp. LOoks doesn’t matters ...but the sign of AUTHENTIC YAMAHA is most important. It has got the power to thrill. Marvalous engine ! BIG ! IIII LOOOOOve uuuuuuu yamaha crux. The sole disliking aspect is it’s indicator. I had a 5000 km experince with no maintainance. The bike is meant for people in the age group of 30 - 40, and not for college students !!!!!
