Well i would say that it is amongst the best bike in 125 segment. I own gladiator SS which is a new further model of JA. The bike has a perfect blend of speed and handling. I just love its stability on corners and consistent performance at all speeds.

I recently bought a Gladiator Deluxe, black coloured and am having a nice time on it. I had tested Pulsar 150 and Super Splendour before zeroing in on Gladiator. As the Yamaha bug had already smitten me, I cared the least for its market position. I test drove the motorcycle before going for it and I pretty much liked it. The cornering was excellent and braking was precise. I then booked one and took the delivery the very next day. The new bike was not as good as the test drive vehicle and it felt very unstable. The dealer told me that it would be better after the first servicing is done. The pick up also has to improve and the brakes are very sensitive. So as of now, I can just and wait and watch, till the first service is done.

By Paul, 2007-11-20 11:04:23.0

I am a budding biker, in the sense that this is for the first time I bought a bike and that too Yamaha gladiator. Comfort and handling of the bike is good however I am facing few issues in my bike. 1. I am getting knocking sound from the engine, I am not sure why it is coming and I read it is not good for engine. Is there any way to rectify it? 2. The pickup of the bike is low and the engine idle speed is low and due to that sometimes the engine is getting off, If i increase the engine idle speed and throtle free play will the pickup increase? 3. I don't understand this issue. I can start the engine with choke off but not with choke on. If I put the choke on in the morning the engine is not starting. On initial few days I tried starting the engine by putting the choke off it was not starting (both electric and kick) then I turned the choke off it started. Now I am starting with choke off. All these seems very strange to me.

By Tom, 2007-11-17 17:54:00.0

JA is my most favourite bike bike for the reasons like its ability to run at a greater speed and everything I want to have a comfortable jouney. It was in the summer of 2006 when I bought Gladiator JA. Since then I have been enjoying life.Previouly I relied on the trains and buses but now i can go to Surat or anywhere i like. It is possible on this bike because it has a very powerful engine -123 cc- which gives more speed and saves my time. it is a real return of the money I have spent after Gladitor.

Though it is a little costly bike, it gives a good service in the form of more mileage - 65 km/L on highway- and speed. I only wanted this and it has an excellent sporty look which adds to my status.I generally have to drive throu out the day, as I have to collect the orders. And this bike has never given me any trouble like acident or a clutch breaking in the middle of my jorney. In this way it is a near zero maintanance bike.
