The new five-door V2 Xeta has an extra efficiency petrol engine that delivers a significantly enhanced torque of 12.4 kg-m, which makes it possible for the engine to be more smother and responsive. This enables a faster pick up and fewer gear changes in normal or crowded city traffic.
This version comes with a MPFI fuel distribution technology with a 32 bit microprocessor controlled engine system. A range of sensors including a knock-control sensor, which reduces damage to the system from adulterated fuel, adds thrill to a sensational and smooth drive.
With a five person seating capacity, this version has a 37 litre fuel tank capacity. However, this version is able to offer an improved fuel efficiency of around 15.7 kmpl on the city, while around 10.9 kmpl in city driving conditions, thus offering a respectable fuel economy of an overall figure of 11.8 kmpl.
Featuring a spacious cabin that is the biggest in its class, it comfortably seats three individuals in the rear. This means ample elbow and leg room. Furthermore, the V2 Xeta features a host of trendy interiors that are standard to this range.
Available as GL, GLE GLX, GLG, and GLS variants, there is a lot to choose from. The GLX comes with power steering that makes it easier around the bends and corners. There is central locking and four power windows as well. Additionally, the H-VAC cooling system makes even the most gruelling of summers the easiest to bear. Exterior features like body coloured bumpers, OVRMs and exquisite door handles make others take a second look at who is driving!
The GLG version includes the HVAC system and front power windows. Apart from the central locking system, the car includes trendy interiors and stunning exteriors to provide it with a touch of look and style. While the GLS includes a power steering, body coloured bumpers, and other features, the GLE comes with a new front grill and chrome strip. This variant sets itself a class apart with heaps of style and elegance.
As described, the V2 Xeta is available in a range of variants as follows:
Tata Indica V2 Xeta 1.2 GL - BS III
Tata Indica V2 Xeta 1.2 GLE - BS III
Tata Indica V2 Xeta 1.2 GLS - BS III

I did own an Indica Vista for 3 years. Performance wise it was good and fuel efficiency was good too. I did not spend a great deal on maintenance and hence got a good resale value too. Looking for a change now. Heard the new Manza is to be launched soon. Considering a few other cars. Booked a TD for Manza though.. try it ..

I have bought Tata Indica V2 DLS, since i bought this car, even though this car ran for 35000 kms till date, we have some problem or other such as Air conditioner never worked at its best, suspension already gave way, i have replaced the battery, diesel pump. Viziling noise from the engine is a common phenomina of this car, Radiator heats up with A/c on and long distance is travelled.
Idea of giving you this feed back is to work on these issues on launching your next models.
