Tata indigo so far has received bountiful bashes from sizeable number of customers. Little wonder, I too am going to add my name to the ever-swelling list. Experience, they say is the best teacher. But i've cut a sorry figure for myself, since i care a damn about them. To start off,i've been the owner of two indigo's. Though i had a fair first-hand idea, how bad the indigo model is,
i went in for the second one. The first one had a problem with the pick up and the engine of second one got ceased after it had just ran fifty thousand kilometers. I had got all the services done in time and at authorized dealer.
When contacted, the dealer expressed their inability to help since the car had crossed the warranty limit, which clearly reflects that the co. expects the customer to be prepared for anything after it has crossed fifty thousand kilometers limit. Thus, on reliablity front, it can be rated as most unreliable.
In both the cases, the experience with two different dealers , based at Chandigarh and Ludhiana ,was less than satisfactory since they tend to shift the blame on the customer and have a casual attitude towards customer complaints. So my only suggestion is,
So keep off!
