I got a Corolla from last two years but I have some notable points for someone who is planning to buy. I am not rash driver or think my corolla as a sports car but I found that within few months of purchase the interiors have started weak and shaky. The window glass creates noise while swirling up or down. The door is bit delicate and when you close the door, the right arm rest (on the door) vibrates a bit. In rainy season, the roof noise is too much. Shock absorbers can be worse than this one as even a small bump or bang on the road will make you feel. Take a ride with your ineffective AC you will see that you have moved your mileage from 12 kms/pl to 10 kms/pl. Each and everyone on the road can listen the break noise, which is really bad. Timer shows wrong timing and there is no enough space for water bottle or files.
May be taking a complete test drive and research of reviews will give you the right picture about the car?
