The Corolla is a luxury sedan that combines excellence with style and performance. The advanced aerodynamic styling gives the appearance of travelling in a luxury car with the looks of a sports car. The Corolla also comes with flamboyant exterior features such as an imposing front grill, four lamp multi-reflector, powerful fog lamp, led rear lamp, grip type door handles, and concealed exhaust pipe.

This car is powered by a 1.8 litre DOHC VVT-i engine with EFI fuel distribution system that is capable of delivering a maximum output of 125 PS at 6000 rpm and a maximum torque of 16.1 kg-m at 4200 rpm. This technology offers extra smooth acceleration with enhanced fuel efficiency.

The chassis encompasses the world renowned MacPherson Strut type and the ETA beam Strut type with stabilizers. The Corolla also features tubeless radials, ventilated brakes in the front and solid disc brakes in the rear with anti locking braking and electronic brake distribution systems.

This elegant vehicle also includes a host of advanced safety features such as a high integrity cabin with crumple zones in the front and rear to absorb impact energy in the event of an accident or collision. This model also features Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) air bags for the safety of the driver and the occupants in case of an impact.

This model comes in seven variants. While the H1 H2 and H5 are 5-speed manual, the H3 and H4 offer 4-speed manual versions. The H7 is a limited edition version while the HE is an executive option.

This variant is Corolla's executive model with cool looks and aesthetic styling. This variant is a three-box four door model capable of seating five people with a five speed manual transmission. The clutch is dry plate type. HE's palette includes a choice of exciting colours like silver metallic, champagne mica metallic, black mica, white pearl metallic, Simpson red, and super white.

Fitted with a 50 litre petrol tank, it is capable of delivering around 9.8 kmpl in city conditions while around 13.4 kmpl on the highway in standard driving conditions. The HE is provided with manual air-conditioning with heater. It is also equipped with power steering, anti-lock braking system, printed antenna, and power windows. The exterior rear view mirrors are also electrically adjustable. The interior seat upholstery is fabric.

However, this model lacks other features like adjustable headlights and driver airbags. Moreover, standard features like AM/FM radio, CD and cassette player are also not provided with this variant, although a set of four box speakers come as factory fits.
