The Volvo S80 D5 is a four door sedan that is capable of seating up 5 people. The S80 D5 (185 PS) has an advanced all aluminium five cylinder turbo engine with superior fuel economy. With remarkable flexibility in all conditions, it is available with a six speed manual gearbox or six speed automatic transmission. The diesel engine delivers adequate horsepower with 185 bhp at 4000 rpm and a torque of 400 Nm at 2750 rpm. Performance wise it has a fabulous power to weight ratio of 111 bhp/ton, and delivers a top speed of 225 km/h. It gives fantastic acceleration and can achieve 0-100 kph in just nine seconds.

The S80 D5 also has front and rear ventilated discs with 18" alloy wheels. It is very easy to handle this vehicle with power assisted rack and pinion steering. The suspension consists of the world famous McPherson Strut suspension on the front and independent Coil Spring on the rear. Additionally, it can negotiate tight spaces easily with a turning radius of only 5.9 meters.

It has all the required safety features such as ABS, Driver Airbag, Passenger Airbag, Front Side Airbag, Rear Side Airbag and De-powered Airbag as well. Other safety features include child safety locks, central locking, and remote locking as well.
