Novi, Mich., March 31, 2008 - Cooper-Standard Automotive has appointed Kimberly Dickens global vice president, Human Resources. In this role she will have responsibility for managing the company's global human resources practices, including health and welfare programs, labor relations, employee development, environmental health and safety practices, facilities management, and strategic leadership initiatives. Dickens will be located at the company's global headquarters in Novi, Mich., reporting to Ed Hasler, president and chief operating officer.

Most recently, Dickens was vice president, Human Resources, Federal Signal Corporation, Oak Brook, Ill., where she provided strategic direction and leadership for the human resources function. Prior to her tenure at Federal Signal, Dickens was with Borg Warner Corporation where she held several plant and division human resources positions before ultimately becoming vice president of Human Resources for the corporation.

Her years of industry experience, strong business acumen and reputation for developing progressive human resources programs will be a great asset to Cooper-Standard Automotive as we continue to expand around the globe," said Hasler.

Dickens earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Health and Safety from Oakland University in Rochester, Mich., as well as a Masters in Business Administration from Lewis University in Romeoville, Ill.
