Jim McDowell, VP of MINI US to address reporters on rising gas prices

WOODCLIFF LAKE, N.J. -- MINI USA announced that Jim McDowell, Vice President of MINI USA, will address reporters in the Detroit, MI area on July 22, 2008 regarding rising gas prices in the United States and its impact on the small car marketplace. MINI has consistently established itself as a leader in the premium small car segment.

In the wake of skyrocketing gas prices, many Americans are looking to smaller cars to help ease the pain at the gas pump. McDowell will share his insights on the future of smaller cars in light of the massive structural changes currently taking place in the marketplace. He will also discuss why he believes the world is becoming more MINI every day.
