True Religion Apparel ranks 1 in Apparel Magazine's annual top 50

VERNON, Calif. - True Religion Apparel, Inc announced that it has been ranked #1 in Apparel Magazine's annual Top 50 List of the Most Profitable Publicly Traded Apparel Companies.

The industry-leading magazine publishes the definitive ranking and analysis of America's 50 Most Profitable Publicly Traded Apparel Companies based on annual 2007 profit margins. True Religion is joined on the list by other leaders within the apparel and retail industry including Guess?, Nike, Under Armour, Polo Ralph Lauren and Nordstrom.

"Being ranked #1 among the most profitable publicly traded apparel companies is a significant accomplishment and reflective of our positive momentum and progress in establishing True Religion as a global aspirational brand," stated Jeffrey Lubell, Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and Creative Director of True Religion Apparel, Inc.

"Since our inception in 2003, we have a proven track record of profitable growth, with our net income increasing on average in excess of 80% annually. The growth of our higher margin consumer direct segment has been a significant contributor to our strong financial performance. As our consumer direct business becomes more significant as a percentage of total sales, we expect to further accelerate our top line sales growth and margin expansion."
