  Archer: The genius short story writer

  Jeffrey Archer is a gifted author for crafting awesome short stories. Archer’s endless capacity to create imaginative situations and converting a normal story into intriguing one are the reasons for his popularity as a short story writer. To Cut a Long Story short is a marvelous edition. There are fourteen stories in total, starting from “Death Speaks” and ending with “The Grass is Always Greener”. All the stories are concise with spinning plot. The titles given to each story are exciting that compel to read all of them. The titles are: 1. The Expert Witness 2. The Endgame 3. The Letter 4. Crime Pays 5. Chalk and Cheese 6. A Change of Heart 7. Too Many Coincidences 8. Love at First Sight 9. Both Sides Against the Middle 10. A Weekend to Remember 11. Something for Nothing 12. Other Blighters' Efforts 13. Reclining Woman 14. The Grass is Always Greener… Love at First Sight" is a touching tribute to two of the author's friends. The Expert Witness, The Endgame, Crime Pays, Chalk and Cheese, The Grass is always greener and Love at First Sight are most interesting with intelligent characters. But what grabbed my attention more than anyone is The Grass is Always Greener… as it has fresh and different storyline that puts a positive impact on the reader. The story shows that success and happiness depends on how you take it. Rest of the stories are also good. Most of the stories are derived from the real incidents. A fantastic read for all short stories readers and Archer’s fan.
