Hanuman and his troops take Rama and Lakshmana across the ocean into Ravana's Lanka. In the war that follows, the demons are destroyed. Rama reunited with Sita makes over Lanka to Ravana's brother and returns to rule Ayodhya. The epic poem 'Ramayana' describes Rama's story in the ancient language Sanskrit.
