  The Sense of an Ending

  Amazing book by an amazing writer. Beautifully written. Vivid descriptions that are so truthful in their memory-ridden ambiguity; each line, observation, and comment, that one so relates to; it draws you in instantly from the start. Takes you along from childhood to youth to middle-age in those few pages; up and down each twist in the tale. And, phew, when it ends you can just sit and stare ... and introspect...
