Friendship Day - 02nd August, 2009

We are sure, many of you have heard the song by the famous American singer Dionne Warwick - "…Keep smiling…keep shining…that's what friends are for…" This is a song about friends and friendship, for it is truly a hallowed and revered institution since time immemorial.

Friends are so unique and special that there is a special day set aside as Friendship day for it. International Friendship month is celebrated in February, while New Friends week is celebrated in the month of May. On this day, friends value their friendship with others in more ways than one.
