Dr. V. Jegathesan received his B.E. degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Bharathiar University, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India in 1999. He has obtained M.E. from Bharathiar University, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India in 2002 and his doctoral degree from Anna University, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India in 2010. Presently, he is working as an Assistant Professor (SG) in Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering in Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences (Karunya University), Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India. Dr. Jegathesan has 12 years of teaching experience from Karunya University. His present research interests are Electric Circuits and Networks, Development of Heuristic Algorithm for Power Electronics Applications, Application of Non-traditional Methods to Power Electronics, Power Electronics and Drives. He has already published various research papers in international journals and also in international conferences. He is a member of IEEE (USA), Indian Society for Technical Education, International Association of Engineers (IAENG), International Association of Computer Science and Information Technology (IACSIT).Mr. K. Vinoth Kumar received his B.E. degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Anna University, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India in 2006. He obtained M.Tech in Power Electronics and Drives from VIT University, Vellore, Tamil Nadu, India in 2008. Presently he is working as an Assistant Professor in the School of Electrical Science, Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences (Karunya University), Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India. He is pursuing PhD degree in Karunya University, Coimbatore, India. His present research interests are Condition Monitoring of Industrial Drives, Neural Networks and Fuzzy Logic, Special Machines, Application of Soft Computing Technique. He has published various papers in international journals and conferences and also published four textbooks. He is a member of IEEE (USA), MISTE and International Association of Electrical Engineers (IAENG).Dr. R. Saravanakumar is currently working as an Associate Professor in the School of Electrical Engineering, Vellore Institute of Technology University (VIT). He has been teaching Power Electronics and Special Electrical Machines since 1999 to B.Tech students and has also been teaching students of M.Tech Power Electronics and Drives since 2002. He has a total teaching experience of 12 years and a research experience of 7 years. He received his postgraduate degree in Power Electronics and Drives from the College of Engineering, Guindy, in 1998 and PhD degree from VIT University, Vellore, India. He has published articles in both international and national conferences, journals and has also published papers in IEEE Xplore. He has published three textbooks. His areas of interest are Power Electronics, Modeling and Simulation of Power Electronic Systems, and Special Electrical Machines and Control.
