This book by Suhail Mathur is really a treat for readers who love adventure, thrillers, history, mythology and mind games. The story is told at a brisk pace and the narrative never lags. The constant battle of wits keeps the readers on their toes with the one liners adding an extra spark to the book. A very well written book and at a price of 172, it is a steal. Actually, even at 245 it is more than worth it.
The Bhairav Putras is an intriguing joyride which doubles up as an adventure as well as an intelligent thriller. The setting and tone of the book is absolutely in sync with the era it is set in yet it has a very contemporary feel to it, something that today's generation can relate to.
A well written, coherent, interesting book that is actually lot of fun while being witty, well researched and action packed at the same time. Very well done. Some debut awards definitely coming this way! :-)
I really enjoyed reading THE BHAIRAV PUTRAS. it's full on action, adventure, mind games, one liners, patriotism, mythology and intrigue. Very cool!
The Bhairav Putras is written so well that it surprises me that it is the first book of the author. The story has been woven so well with all mandatory twists and turns that it seems like an adrenaline pumping yet intelligent epic! Superlative is the word for it.
