It is a book that reminds me of what it means to be alive, to love others and most importantly, love yourself. It makes me believe in audacity, tenacity and forbearance a woman possesses and develops. Achingly moving and strength giving, this book offers immense hope and strength to all those who are standing at the crossroads of their lives. I can see the scars that are still evident in my soul because of the decision I took when I stood at the crossroads of my life. It destroyed me but it is renewing me gradually. Kavita's decision reminds me about the power of faith and it's ability to help us cross the ocean of agonies through the support of higher power and the people who love us. She is a person I will look upto when my knees give up. Preeti Singh has taken reader through a physical, emotional and spiritual journey which will have tremendous impact in the hearts of readers. It totally won my heart and made me realize the importance of myself as well as others. Crossroads remind me to be myself even if that means losing the relationship I have cared about my entire life. Because if I am not happy, how can I make the other person happy? Love thyself first is what it tries to tell me in my ears. I lack words to appreciate my favorite author. She has done incredibly well in designing the characters, their mental conflicts, their developments, the sub plots and delivering the message to the audience. The theme is beautiful and the writing is spotless. If someone asks me to describe this book in one sentence, it would be," This book will help you to find yourself so don't consider this book an ordinary novel." Thank you Preeti mam for penning down this novel. This is not how I write reviews as you know but it came from the heart. Thank you for providing our world with your crossroads. Thank you for such an invaluable experience.
