I ordered the book on Infibeam after going through some reviews on Amazon and Flipkart.I am an Amazon fan but the reason I ordered from infibeam this time was a better price.Even though they shipped the book after 3 days from the date of placement of order it was delivered within the next two days. The book was very nicely packaged and upon opening it I found the book in a perfect condition sealed inside a cellophane cover with cello tapes. The book was absolutely in a perfect condition. After going through the contents of the book briefly, I found it was an excellent book dealing with all the major topics of Environmental Science presented in a very lucid and organised manner in the form of questions and answers. There is a related case study to address every chapter and all the current and relevant information has been appendaged beautifully with the basic theoretical sections keeping in mind the dynamic nature of the subject of EVS and climate change.I would recommend this book to anyone who's looking for a good reference to the subject of EVS and climate change for competitive exams. Please note that this book deals with more than the basics of every topic it touches but don't expect it to be a substitute if you are looking for a more advanced guide to Environmental Science or especially Environmental Engineering. This is not the book for people looking for a reference to a graduate or a post graduate level study of Environmental Science or Environmental Engineering.
Book which is true in its motto: prelims + mains! Simple language and covers everything. I think one can easily go for this without any doubt. I found it simpler than shankar ias notes. Book price and quality of service by infibeam is best. :)
