About The Book
The Holy Book of C.R.A.P.is a compilation of humorous articles written by Farokh Keki Dordi for The Parsi Times, a weekly newspaper. On the request of his followers, he decided to compile his collection of articles into a book.
The book is all about a small Parsi family living an average middle-class livelihood and the day-to-day issues of daily survival they face. It talks about their gratitude and their habit of always saying thanks to God for blessing them with whatever they have until one fine day, Gustad, the protagonist, and his family get to meet God. That’s when the journey of God and Gustad begins. The book delivers some important lessons of life in a light-hearted and humorous manner that is sure to bring a smile to your face.
About The Author
Farokh Keki Dordi was born in Lucknow and studied B.Com from Poddar College, Mumbai. He believed that “It’s a person’s perspective towards a situation which mends or bends it.” Farokh started the famous God and Gustad column, for a weekly newspaper The Parsi Times which became an instant hit with Parsi readers. Encouraged by his fans, Farokh decided to put together the God and Gustad series into a book THE HOLY BOOK OF C.R.A.P (Conscious Realization and the Ability to Perform).
Positive and straightforward, Farokh was known for motivating and helping people, most genuinely and humbly, to find their way in times of difficulty. He was a loving husband, a caring father and a doting grandfather.
Farokh Keki Dordi expired due to a sudden brain haemorrhage in 2016 just before he could fulfil his dream of becoming a successful writer. His wife and daughter decided to fulfil his dream through THE HOLY BOOK OF C.R.A.P, and they hope to spread some of the joy he has brought to so many lives.
