Joseph Lincoln was a 20th century writer of short stories, poems, and novels. Cape Cod Stories is also published under the name "The Old Home House." Lincoln used the fictional town of Cape Cod as the setting for his stories. He believed that his stories should make the reader feel good about themselves and their neighbors. Stories included are: Two Pairs of Shoes, The Count and the Manager, The South Shore Weather Bureau, The Dog Star, The Mare and the Motor, The Mark on the Door, The Love of Lobelia 'Ankins, The Antiquers, The Meanness of Rosy, His Native Heath, and Jonesy.
