About the Author
Dr S N Panday has been teaching Plant Physiology at DAV College, Kanpur since 196
6. He has published several research papers in various journals and is Editor of Research Journal of Plant and Environment and Advances in Applied Physiology (2 vols). He is also co-author of A Textbook of Botany (3 vols.) published by Vikas. He is General Secretary of the International Society for Plant and Environment and has attended international conferences in Germany, France, Italy, Austria, Switzerland, and USA.Prof B K Sinha worked on Plant Physiology for thirty years. For ten years he worked under Professor S C Aggarwal at the Botany Department, Lucknow University, and later taught graduate and postgraduate students at DAV College, Kanpur. Dr Sinha also worked on ten annual reports on plant composition scheme for the ICAR. He also supervised research work on various aspects of plant physiology.
