About the Book:-
I'm stranded on Mars.
I have no way to communicate with Earth.I'm in a Habitat designed to last 31 days.
If the Oxygenator breaks down, I'll suffocate. If the Water Reclaimer breaks down, I'll dieof thirst. If the Hab breaches, I'll just kind of explode. If none of those things happen, I'lleventually run out of food and starve to death.
So yeah. I'm screwed.

One of the best Hard Science Fiction novels you may ever find. It is also a wonderful Man vs. Nature, but instead of being placed in the setting of some wild area of the Earth it is set on Mars. A place where just one mistake could kill you. The amount of research is amazing. Its full of suspense as Watney fight against all odds. Suspense, adventure, and humor! An enjoyable read from the first sentence to the last. You can't help but put yourself in astronaut Mark Watney's place and I love that in a book. Plus, you gotta love a story about someone who isn't willing to give up and who, because of that, beats all odds. And it was nice to see the whole world routing for him. And Mark Watney discovers within himself great resourcefulness and an uncanny knack for survival. More would be telling and no spoilers here, but this is a story of courage, individual initiative as well as teamwork and esprit de corps. It's easy to forget that most human beings have the desire to help each other out and that we are in this together. All of us. Regardless of country, race, class, etc. Highly, highly recommended.
The Martian is a nice book. Thanks to infibeam for this best book
