About The Author
A.P.J. Abdul Kalam (Author) was the President of India and one of the country's most distinguished scientists. He held various positions in ISRO and DRDO and became principal scientific adviser to the Government of India, holding the rank of a cabinet minister. He has the unique honour of receiving honorary doctorates from thirty universities and the country's three highest civilian honours-the Padma Bhushan (1981), the Padma Vibhushan (1990) and the Bharat Ratna (1997).
Sanjeev Sanyal (Author) is the principal economic adviser to the Government of India and an internationally acclaimed economist and urban theorist. He livesin Delhi and writes on a wide array of topics, ranging from economics to history.
