This book has something for everyone in it. For those who are the new members of the reading club, it is one the best options available to get started with. For those who love romantic novels, they will love it as the book is full of beautiful emotions and twists. The author has added his interesting philosophical thoughts which makes the book even more interesting especially for those readers who like philosophy. The best part about the book is the flow which will keep your interested till you have finished reading it.In a nutshell, this book has all the ingredients to entertain the readers. From the moment I opened this book and to the very end, the flow - of emotions, of love, and of feelings - was so smooth that it dragged me along effortlessly. The story has an up - down - up - down nature that draws you to get involved, and slowly but surely you start feeling for the characters (especially Raghav). The writing is such that it compels you to visualize the scenes. Yes, it has its share of flaws. It starts of brilliantly, but gets kind of predictable towards the middle. But it gathers momentum soon enough and builds up to an excellent ending that couldn't have been better! This is a feel good book. It's almost written as a personal account, in a diary like style, and that suits the story to the T! It's simple in a way, but that actually suits the book! The best parts of the book for me are: The 2nd chapter: simply because it's so different from the first chapter in terms of lightness and style, so unexpected, and so sweet. The chapters towards the end of the first part: the feelings & emotions are portrayed brilliantly. The twists (I won't tell you where!) The Ending There are some books that leave you with a strong feeling (happy or sad) for many days. Some of the books that did that me are "The Kite Runner","A Thousand Splendid Suns","2 States". And this book did that me as well. That's reason enough for me to recommend it to readers. Go for it! www.rainydays.in

Let’s say you want to buy a book for a good read. What would you expect of it? Some would prefer romance, some may want to read a mystery, and a few may want to read about philosophy, maybe. And most importantly, it should tell a story that doesn’t bore you. What if all of this was embedded in one book? Rainy Days offers you just that. True, it is not a story about two great lovers, there is no thrilling murder mystery that’s solved nor does the author get so deeply philosophical that at times it’s a little difficult to understand in one read! But this book has a feel good factor. The romance between Raghav and Megha, the relationship Raghav shares with his friends, the inspirational success story of Raghav’s joint venture with his friends and the author’s ‘quietly philosophical’ style of writing is straight from the heart and is sure to touch your hearts. And all this has been told in one gripping story. And it’s not just that. This book also talks about principles and social awareness, and also about the customs and superstitions that are followed in our country. But more importantly, the author does make you think. Think about two things; the chances you get, and the choices you make on the chances you get and what you will eventually become because of that. I am sure everybody will be able to relate to some incident/s in their life during the course of reading this book.

Why should every journey begin with a chase. True that is how the world has become now. The consquent travails and stress. But, will we be a better success at anything, including Love if we do not chase. Maybe, success (Love) chases us when we are not chasing but are measured in the journey. This is a old man commenting. Am waiting to see what the techie has to say in his Book. Sai Krishnappa
