About the Author

Dr.Prasad has been a professor of psychiatry and medical anthropology at several universities around the world. He trained as a physician in the mid 70's and initially specialized in pediatrics in the Republic of Ireland before deciding to embark on a career in psychiatry training at the University of Edinburgh.
