About the author
Dr Sandesh Mayekar is a world-renowned aesthetic and cosmetic dentist. An honorary consultant to the India Armed Forces Medical Services, he introduced aesthetic and cosmetic dentistry into India by launching the Indian Academy for Aesthetic and Cosmetic Dentistry (IAACD). He was past president of the Asian Academy of Aesthetic Dentistry (AAAD). He is visiting faculty at the University of Buffalo, New York, and the Department of Restorative Dentistry at the New Jersey School of Dentistry. He is currently member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and American Society for Dental Aesthetics. He is a Fellow of the International College of Dentists and Pierre Fauchard Academy, Fellow of Academy Dentistry Internationalle (USA). He has been invited as a keynote speaker at major conferences and scientific sessions all over the world.
