American 3D-animated comedy-cum-family fiction movie, Chicken Little was produced by Walt Disney Feature Animation and released in the year 2005. It is basically inspired from the fable of the same name. It is the 46th animated feature in the Walt Disney Animated Classics and was directed by Mark Dindal. Dindal wrote the story with Mark Kennedy. It features Zach Braff, Garry Marshall, Joan Cusack, and Steve Zahn.
Oakey is a small town where, in a school, Chicken Little rings the school bell to warn everyone to run for their lives. Due to this, the town is shaken up in fear and panic. The Head of the fire department intervenes and calms down the situation. He asks Chicken Little the reason for alerting everyone. He explains that while sitting under an oak tree, a piece of the sky fell on his head, but he is now unable to find that piece. The town is not ready to believe him and he eventually is made fun of because of his antics. Chicken Little is now infamous in the town and no one is on his side. His friends are a bunch of outcasts like Abby, who has a crush on him. Chicken Little makes up his mind to make his dad feel proud of him. Now as an attempt to redeem his father??s pride and his own reputation, he joins a baseball team in his school. He is still not considered important enough to play in the top order. He finds himself hit by the same "piece of sky", but now he is enlightened. How will he redeem his dad??s reputation and his pride in the town and what will he explain to the fellow citizens are the interesting
