About The Product
Cinderella 2: Dreams Come True (2002) by John Kafka and Darrell Rooney is the sequel to the 1950 Disney film, Cinderella. Walt Disney Pictures' Cinderella 2: Dreams Come True stars the voices of Jennifer Hale as Cinderella, Russi Taylor as Fairy Godmother, and Rob Paulsen as Jaq. The next movie is Cinderella III: A Twist In Time (2007).
In Cinderella 2: Dreams Come True, the story opens in a castle where the Fairy Godmother is reading a story. Just then, Cinderella's mice friends, Gus and Jaq, enter the room, but are disappointed to see that the story is over. Then they decide to write a new book, which tells Cinderellas story after the Happily Ever After. The first story is titled Aim To Please. While the King and Prince Charming are away on a tour, Cinderella is put in charge of all the palace parties and banquets. The Princess, with the help of her friends, convinces everyone in the palace that the royal banquet should be open for all, including the commoners. The second story, Tall Tail, is about a mouse named Jaq, who feels that he is too tiny to be of any help to Cinderella. The Fairy Godmother turns Jaq into a human, who is now six times taller than his mouse height. However, he now feels reluctant to tell Cinderella that he is human. To make matters worse, the palace cat, Pom Pom, still recognises Jaq and chases him around the palace. The human-mouse soon realises that he was happier being himself than as a human. When this story ends, a mice accidentally spills magic dust on the nearly-completed book. Then, Jaq tells everyone the last story titled An Uncommon Romance. Cinderella's stepsister, Anastasia, falls in love with a baker. Her mother, Lady Tremaine, and sister, Drizella, disapprove of this relationship. They tell Anastasia to forget the baker, and to marry a rich man. Cinderella learns about Anastasias feelings, and tries to help her out. After this, Cinderella 2: Dreams Come True finally comes to an end. The mice then sing Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo!
